Drissa is an Agroecologist, specialized in environmental policy assessment, climate change and sustainable development. Graduated from Norwegian University of Life Sciences in 2006, Mr. Doumbia has Master 2 in Natural ressource Management and sustainable Agriculture.
More than 10 years of experience in formulating policies and strategies for adaptation to climate change. Program officer at the UNFCC from 2015 to 2016 in Germany, he had previously worked at the National Office of Water and Forests mangament from 2006 to 2009 and between 2013 and 2015 at the Environmental Agency as Environmental monitoring coordinator.
Since June 2016 he is in charge of the implementation of two important agendas, namely the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Climate Agreement. Drissa is now the national coordinator of the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) under the Paris climate agreement at the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development and as lead negotiator on UNFCCC process for Mali.
