Dr. Håvard Mokleiv Nygård is Director of Knowledge and Evaluation at the Norwegian Agency for International Development (Norad). He comes from the position of Research Director at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO). Dr. Nygård was a member of a the Steering committee of the UN Statistical Commission ‘Praia Group on Governance Statistics’ and a founding member of the SDG 16 Data Initiative. He has extensive experience working on how to measure, monitor, and analyze data and information related to violence, extremism, conflict, and development.
