Konstantin Sokulskiy

Konstantin Sokulskiy assumed his function Programme Specialist, Head of Governance Unit at UNDP Kazakhstan in April 2016.

Mr. Sokulskiy has more than 12 years of experience in international field. His career has always been devoted to public service. Over 12 years he has led large-scale development initiatives and teams of experts while implementing a multi-million project portfolio. His portfolio of projects includes large development area and stretches from Prevention of Violent Extremism to Public Administration reforms. Among other important initiatives, he has been instrumental in design and implementation of the regional PVE initiative in the Central Asia region, funded by the Government of Japan.

Prior to joining UNDP, Mr. Sokulskiy lead EU funded initiative on Civil Service Reforms in Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan. He also worked in public sector in Kazakhstan with the Ministry of Education and National Center for Civil Service Personnel Management in Kazakhstan.

He holds MA in International Relations form the University Eichstaett-Ingolstadt in Germany and Diploma in History, basics of Economics and Law from Eurasia National University in Kazakhstan.
